Successful DSC Youth Hunter

OK, she is two for two!! Congratulations to Koren Pardiac who took a six point buck on the September 22, 2007 youth hunt, on state land near DSC campgrounds. She had a choice of bucks to chose from!! Koren was hunting with her dads 50 caliber muzzleloader again and took her deer with one shot. All of the campers came out with a big congratulations for her. Her father, Terry, is very proud of her and is taking the razzing to catch up with Koren like only a proud father can. Thanks go to Don and Reggie, because now the deer is in the freezer and we have 24 jars of canned venison! Ron Davis smoked one of Koerns venison roasts from last years deer for everyone to enjoy around the campfire that night also !! Yum,Yum !

We are planing on making chili for the Fall Ball and chili cook off with some Koren's deer meat, it should be great !! Come on and get your kids out in the great out doors and enjoy this wonderful fall weather. Good luck to all of the hunters in the up coming hunting season !!!
