In August of 2001, members of the Rifle Committee closed the rifle range so that a new state of the art backstop could be constructed. Hundreds of hours of labor and 141,000 pounds of shredded rubber contributed to a new and safer backstop for our shooters.

Also for any members wishing to qualify for shooting from position at the DSC, print and complete the course of fire in the Rifle Position Qualification Score Card and have same verified by the Range Safety Officer on duty during each qualifying session.
