Welcome to the Detroit Sportsmen's Congress

The Detroit Sportsmen's Congress (DSC) was founded in Detroit Michigan in 1936 for the purpose of promoting better hunting and fishing within the state.

Conservation Pledge I give my pledge as an American, To save and faithfully defend from waste, The natural resources of my country. Its air, soil and minerals, Its forests, waters and wildlife.

At its present location since 1948 the DSC occupies 99 acres on Dequindre road between M-59 and 23 mile road in Shelby Township.
The Dequindre property is where our range facilities for, Archery, Rifle, Pistol, Sporting Clays, Trap and Skeet, Cowboy Action Shooting and Black Powder are located.
At the same location you will find the office and clubhouse, with a full service members-only bar and kitchen.
The DSC also has a 200 site campground facility on Horseshoe Lake in Oxford which are available to members during the
camping season (April thru October)

We also offer many educational classes that are open to the community.

Office hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays - 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Wednesdays 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Monthly the DSC will recognize a member who by their
action and dedication deserve the status of "Member of the Month"
